FTLOP staff is diverse in their pets as well as their involvement in community organizations.

Celina Raper, our Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), belongs to the Nevada County chapter of the California Veterinary Medical Association Disaster Response Team. This is the group that would tend to animals of all kind in the event of a disaster such as a wildfire.

Kim Furtado served on the Board of Directors of the Nevada County FireSafe Council, and intends on returning once her new baby is a little older.
